MEDIKERI (COORG or KODAGU)

Proudly known as the Scotland of India, Coorg is a hill station in the south with scintillating beauty, mesmerising attractions and an inspiring culture.

Spread over 4100 sq. km between the elevation of 1100-1400 meters, the territory of Kodagu or Coorg is nestled on the eastern slopes of the Western Ghats. These mountain ranges extend from Western to Southern India along the Arabian sea. The area is dotted with coffee plantations & spices. Locals “Kodavas or Coorgies” are believed to be descendent of the Greeks and have their distinct rich culture and attire. The best experience of Coorg is to stay in a coffee plantation and visit a local house for lunch.
