SPECIAL

The Young - Discover India Through Their Eyes

Traveling to India with children offers a unique opportunity for them to learn, explore, and grow in ways that traditional classrooms can’t provide. From vibrant landscapes to cultural experiences, India is a treasure trove for young minds eager to absorb new perspectives.
At Sujaan Jawai, children can engage with nature firsthand, observing wildlife in their natural habitats and understanding the importance of conservation. The awe of seeing leopards roaming free and the excitement of participating in nature walks instill a deep respect for the environment.
In Kanha National Park, little rangers can accompany expert naturalists to learn about the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Through activities tailored to their age, kids are encouraged to develop a curiosity for wildlife and understand the importance of preserving these ecosystems. The interactive experience not only educates but also ignites a passion for nature that can last a lifetime.

Chasing that smile: Finding beauty in Nepalese villages and towns

After several years of traveling through Nepal, I’ve realized that the camera has become as much a part of the landscape as the towering Himalayas. But in these remote villages and bustling towns, people’s reactions to being photographed vary significantly. The Sherpas and Newar communities, for instance, are often welcoming to the camera, allowing moments of genuine connection. The landscapes are breathtaking, but it’s the quiet smiles of the people, the subtle glances from behind prayer flags, or a single hand offering a bowl of rice that tell the most profound stories. Sometimes, a weathered face or the shimmer of a woven scarf is all you need to convey the warmth of a place.
