We follow a three-pillar framework that shapes our environmental and social commitments, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For us, sustainability is not merely a principle but also a practice. Every journey is crafted to encourage sustainable travel, create meaningful impact, and help weave a more sustainable future for your bucket list and for the planet.
We founded Immerse India with a mission to disrupt an age-old DMC culture and push the envelope of the inbound travel industry towards purposeful and sustainable travel. We soon realised that innovating the customer travel experience wasn’t enough: we had to evolve and reimagine beyond it.
The tourism industry is often associated with meagre wages, long hours without breaks, and unhealthy conditions for staff. Trade unions, if they exist, are usually too weak to protect workers effectively. We offer numerous upscaling opportunities, including guide training, office internship, and entrepreneurial exposure, empowering them with the skills needed for personal and professional growth.
We adopt practices that promote the responsible use of natural resources, minimise water waste and single-use plastics, and encourage recycling through reusable alternatives, making every journey a more mindful and sustainable travel experience.

We deeply respect the land and encourage the travellers to leave it as they find it – avoiding single-use plastic, taking more and more local transportation, walks and sustainable options for travel and stay. However, that doesn't mean compromising with the quality of services.

Before promoting a new product, we spend months finding the right people to bring it to life. To execute our itineraries and experiences perfectly, we collaborated closely with the locals throughout the process. The result is always endorsing, with a genuinely inspiring story.

An abundance of organic vegetables, fresh fruit, and locally sourced food is the USP of the hotels we choose to stay in. Every other day, we take you to local restaurants, offering a delicious way to support the community and practice sustainable travel.

It’s our desire—and it’s been our personal experience—that the more you understand how the itineraries are made and priced, the more thoughtful you will be about what you buy. Implementing policies that promote ethical and sustainable tourism, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and environmentally friendly operations always remain the focal point of our management.

A cornerstone of responsible tourism and a powerful tool for fostering equality is the inclusiveness of local people in all tourism planning and implementation. We partner with hotels that prioritise sustainable tourism and involve local communities as mutually dependent stakeholders, ensuring that the impacts and benefits of tourism are shared equitably.

Local partners are also provided with income opportunities for destination experiences, assistance services, ecolodges, food supplies, transport operations, and handicrafts produced by women's cooperatives sold directly to travellers, supporting community livelihoods and promoting sustainable travel.
We are proud to be a partner of the Glasgow Declaration, a global initiative aimed at accelerating climate action in tourism. Our commitment to this declaration signifies our dedication to sustainable travel practices that contribute to a healthier planet.
We have partnered with UNWTO’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 mission by following 03 key goals where we can make a genuine and worthwhile difference. Our focus areas are linked to these 03 SDGs in our services and selection of products.
This report shares our environmental, social, and governance practices built on a simple belief: tourism must lead the way in restoring balance between nature, people, and communities. It outlines our steps toward a greener, more sustainable future of travel.
